Zelensky about the decision of the Hague court to arrest Putin: Separate children from families

Vladimir Zelensky approved the decision of the court in The Hague on the arrest Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian leader blames the President of the Russian Federation for the transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia.

The President of Ukraine considers it a war crime that children from Ukraine were taken to the territory of the Russian Federation. He called such actions of the Russian leadership a “criminal operation” and Russia itself a terrorist state.

“Separating children from their families, depriving them of any opportunity to contact their relatives, hiding children on Russian territory, dispersing them to remote regions – all this is obviously Russian state policy, state decisions, state evil,” the head of Ukraine said in his evening address to the nation.

Zelensky called the decision of the Hague court historical.

Formerly Children’s Advocate Maria Lvova-Belova said that children were taken out from the war zone in order to find loving parents for them in Russia.
