The WHO called the possible culprits of the coronavirus pandemic

She explained that earlier, the Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control uploaded molecular research data from the Wuhan market in January 2020 to the GISAID international genome monitoring system, which they later deleted. It follows from them that the animals that were sold there were infected with the coronavirus. And among these animals were raccoon dogs.

Of course, we have not received an answer to the question of how the pandemic began, but thanks to these data, we understand in which direction we need to conduct further research, the WHO representative said.
