Dzerzhinsky District Court Novosibirsk sentenced a 57-year-old man who, during a conflict 35 years ago, inflicted 75 stab wounds to a friend, to nine years in a strict regime colony. On Friday, March 17, Lente.ru was informed in the regional department Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
The man was found guilty under Article 102 (Murder with special cruelty) of the RSFSR.
The investigation and the court established that on June 28, 1987, a defendant at the age of 21 brutally killed a 25-year-old girl on the territory of a personal plot in Novosibirsk. The next day, the young man left the region for Samara region, where all this time he was hiding from law enforcement officers – he was accused in absentia of a crime and put on the wanted list. The man was arrested at Samara in the summer of 2022, during interrogation, he confessed.
According to the publication ngs.ru, the victim was a pregnant local resident, who that evening agreed for money to enter into an intimate relationship with the defendant. However, after that, the man allegedly missed a large sum and accused the girl of stealing. It is also reported that the man has a criminal record for rape, theft and murder.
