The Ministry of Emergency Situations predicted the possible development of floods. Based on weather reports, we can expect a sharp warming and the associated melting of snow cover in some areas of the European part of Russia.

The forecast of the Ministry of Emergency Situations includes subjects of the Central (Tver, Smolensk, Kaluga, Vladimir and Moscow regions) and the North-Western (Leningrad, Pskov and Novgorod regions) federal districts.
According to the rescuers, the situation is under control.
Now flooding is observed in 18 regions. In 47 settlements and 4 SNTs, the following were flooded: 1,261 household plots; 125 low water bridges; 14 sections of highways; 122 residential and 20 country houses.
