At the moment, artillery battles in the special operation zone have changed to clashes at the level of small arms, which indicates the advancement of Russian troops. Vasyl Tkach, a war correspondent for Ukraina.ru, told URA.RU about this in an interview.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are saving artillery ammunition, there is not enough of them. Plus, clashes at the level of small arms say that the positions have come closer. Already there are assaults on individual houses, other fortified objects, when artillery is no longer used. This signals the advancement of the front line in our favor,” Tkach told URA.RU correspondent.
At the moment, direct clashes with the enemy are being actively conducted in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction. Fortified areas and dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being stormed by Russian infantrymen – marines and motorized rifles.
Earlier in an interview with URA.RU, a war correspondent Andrey Kots warned that it was in this direction, near Ugledar, Ukraine was secretly preparing an offensive. It was planned to strike in order to cut the road to Mariupol and return the territory of the Azovstal plant.
