Kremlin published a photo and video showing the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the command post of a special military operation located in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported on the air of the channel “Russia 24”.
At the headquarters in Rostov-on-Don, the head of state got acquainted with the reports of both Gerasimov and a number of military leaders of the RF Armed Forces.
Other details of Putin’s visit to the command post of the special military operation are not given now.
A special operation of the Russian Armed Forces continues in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, it was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the purpose of military action is to demilitarize the neighboring country and denazify its authorities.
The decision to conduct the operation was the reason for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
The Kremlin also said that Putin made a working trip to Mariupol. The Russian leader toured the coastline of Mariupol near the yacht club, the theater building and memorable places in the city.
