April almost everywhere Russia expected to be within the normal range. And this means that it will be warm enough.
Above normal temperatures are predicted in the north of Siberia and in the north Yakutiatold Rossiyskaya Gazeta the head of the laboratory of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Ludmila Parshina.
– In April, there is a rapid increase in temperature from the beginning of the month to the end, – notes Parshina. – If in early April in central Russia the average daily temperature slightly exceeds zero, then by the end of the second month of spring it already reaches plus 10 degrees. At night, the prevailing temperature is plus 1-6 degrees, during the day – plus 8-13 degrees. In the Chernozem region already up to plus 16-18 degrees.
Although there are also cold snaps: in the north of the Central District at night there can be frosts down to minus 8 degrees. And during the day the temperature rises to 5 degrees.
Snowfalls in April in the center are rare, but there were years when snowdrifts reached 10-15 centimeters. Although the snow still melted quickly.
In the Leningrad, Pskov and Novgorod regions, April is cooler: at night 1-4 above zero, in the daytime – plus 6-11 degrees. But in the south – in the Rostov region. Krasnodar Territory – the air can warm up to plus 15-20 degrees. The nights are also warm: mostly plus 10 degrees.
In the south of the Urals – in the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions – at night no higher than plus 4 degrees, in the daytime about 10 degrees warm. Traditionally, the coldest regions are the north of Yakutia, Taimyr, where at night frosts reach minus 15 degrees, and even a little warmer during the day. But this April, the temperature there is expected to be above the climatic norm.
In the densely populated regions of Western Siberia (Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk regions), daytime temperatures will rise to plus 7-12 degrees. The same weather is in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which already belongs to Eastern Siberia. But at night frosts down to minus 1-6 degrees. In Primorye at night plus 1-6. during the day plus 8-13 degrees. Some days are warmer.
In Moscow, April will fit in well with climatic indicators: at night – plus 1-6, in the daytime up to plus 13 degrees. Approximately as in Primorye.
A lot of precipitation is predicted in the north-west of European Russia, in Western Siberia, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in the northern and Far Eastern regions. Little rain is expected in the south of Primorsky Krai.
In Moscow, there is little precipitation – about 40 mm, approximately the same as in March.
