Vice speaker Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev called for sanctions against three judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Rosario Salvatore Aytala, Antoine Keziah Mindua and Tomoko Akane, who issued a warrant for the “arrest” of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The corresponding proposal is published in his Telegram-channel.
“Such a “troika” of ICC judges, where all the defendants are clearly unfriendly Russia… I think it would be fair to immediately add them to the sanctions lists on this basis, ”said the Russian senator.
Formerly Chancellor Germany Olaf Scholz greeted decision of the ICC issuing the “arrest” warrantPutin. Scholz stated that the ICC is the institution responsible for investigating war crimes. The politician noted that “no one can be above the law.”
