The head of the press center of the “South” group, Ivan Bigma, said that units of the Armed Forces Russian Federation advanced in the Maryinsky direction with fire support from the 1st Donetsk Army Corps. It is reported by TASS.
“In the Maryinsk direction, artillery units of the 1st Donetsk Army Corps, using multiple launch rocket systems of barrelless artillery, destroyed three strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which ensured the advance of the assault units,” he said.
He noted that in the Avdiivka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had lost a firing position with personnel and a 152-mm Giacint-B cannon. Bigma added that with the help of the UAV, a warehouse with ammunition of Ukrainian military personnel was discovered and destroyed.
On the eve of the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated on the TV channel “Russia 24” that the military of the RF Armed Forces are advancing in Maryinka, “grinding” a huge amount of reserves sent there by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
