IN Poland calmly sell vegetables from Russiadespite a series of Western sanctions against Moscow. According to the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, transmits RIA News.

The publication recalls that European Union introduced numerous restrictions against Russia because of the fighting in Ukraine, but cheap Russian vegetables appeared on the Polish markets. The newspaper wonders what it all means.
The publication states that many European countries have cut off trade relations with Russia, so the opportunity to purchase Russian goods in Poland is “amazing”. Berliner Zeitung writes that dozens of trucks loaded with vegetables from the Russian Federation constantly arrive at the Polish wholesale market in Bronisze.
At the same time, the newspaper notes that Russian cucumbers are sold at a cheaper price than analogues from Europe, which, on the contrary, are only getting more expensive. One of the sellers told the publication that Russian suppliers of cucumbers have all the necessary certificates, tests and documents with them.
Berliner Zeitung writes that food prices in Germany continue to rise. This happens for a number of reasons. One of them is the struggle of farmers with a sharp increase in electricity prices. In addition, the Economic Research Institute reported price wars between manufacturers and distributors. As a result, consumers have to pay for the extra charge, the newspaper summed up.
