Russia will remove the “remains of the liberals” after the decision of the Hague court, Markov is sure

Political scientist Sergey Markov explained what domestic political consequences in Russia should be expected after the decision of the Hague court on the arrest Vladimir Putin.

Markov is sure that after the issuance of a warrant for Putin’s arrest by the International Criminal Court, Russia will “remove the remnants of liberals.”

“The decision of the ICC means that the EU, following the United States, sees only one way to end the conflict in Ukraine – the victory of the West, and the arrest of Putin and his trial on the basis of insane false accusations,” the political scientist wrote in his microblog.

Markov believes that there will be no place for pro-Western liberal forces in Russian politics. He predicted that everyone who called for a compromise with the West would be ousted from the political life of the country.

“The EU is on a political escalation with respect to Russia,” the political expert noted.

Earlier, Sergei Markov called the decision of the Hague court “complete trash“.
