The preliminary results of voting in the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan have become known. The results of polls of voters at the exit from the polling stations have been published.
According to the Eurasian Integration Institute, six parties can get into the lower house of parliament, including the ruling Amanat, which is gaining 53.46% of the vote. The Democratic Party “Ak Zhol” – 7.87%, the People’s Party of Kazakhstan is gaining 6.25%, the People’s Democratic Patriotic Party “Auyl” enlisted the support of 10.52% of voters. The nationwide Social Democratic Party won 5.35%. The Republican Party has 8.9%.
On Sunday, extraordinary elections of deputies to the Majilis (lower house of parliament) and maslikhats (local representative bodies) were held in Kazakhstan. All seven political forces registered in the country participated in the parliamentary elections.
Voting ended at 21:00 (18:00 Moscow time). In total, more than 10 thousand polling stations worked in the republic. Another 77 sites were organized in 62 states. In Kazakhstan, the electorate exceeds 12 million people.
