Airplane S7 Airlines (brand of Siberia Airlines) urgently aborted takeoff at the Novosibirsk airport in Tolmachevo due to a technical malfunction, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported in its Telegram channel. About 80 people were on board at the time of the incident.
The incident happened on March 18 at about 7 am. At the international airport Novosibirsk named after A.I. Pokryshkin during the flight “Novosibirsk – Nizhnevartovsk”, the S7 Airlines airliner, by decision of the crew, stopped the runway on the runway for a technical reason.
There were 79 passengers on board the aircraft, there was no dangerous cargo. The aircraft has been suspended from flights until the causes of the malfunction have been clarified and eliminated.
On the fact of what happened, the Novosibirsk Transport Prosecutor’s Office organized an inspection.
Earlier, the plane, flying from St. Petersburg to Izhevsk, left for an emergency landing immediately after takeoff. On board Boeing 737 carried 88 passengers and four crew members. According to the Mash on the Moika Telegram channel, a bird got into one of the engines.
