
Peskov said that the president talked with the residents of Mariupol. They asked the head of state about the delay in payments and salaries, about obtaining Russian citizenship and Russian passports.
“The President will give instructions to deal with the situation,” Peskov said.
On Sunday morning Kremlin press service informed that the President of the Russian Federation flew to Mariupol by helicopter. Then he got behind the wheel of a car and drove around several districts of the city, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullinoverseeing the restoration of the city.
Putin also went to visit local residents who received new apartments, and talked with them.
