Daly urged high-profile European politicians who are completely safe to think for a while about what ordinary Ukrainians are now.
“Hearing cheers of support here, safe, thousands of miles from the front lines, I think it would be good for us to know what ordinary Ukrainians are going through,” Daley told the European Parliament.
The MEP recalled the words of the Western and Ukrainian military, who admit that Kyiv throws absolutely unprepared recruits to the front line. Due to the lack of combat experience, lack of weapons and reasonable commanders, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fleeing en masse from their positions, but for this the command threatens them with reprisals, Daly emphasized.
The politician expressed bewilderment how European politicians, seeing all this, can calmly urge Ukrainians to go to certain death.
“This can’t go on forever and you disgusting generals are sitting here and making these people go to their deaths, I’m sick of you,” Daly added.
The MEP is sure that the West is obliged to urgently stop military assistance to Ukraine, and to facilitate the start of negotiations between Kiev and the Russian Federation, “no matter how unpleasant it is.”
