Baker noted that the third episode came out extremely dramatic. He also praised the Easter eggs for famous video games. Recall – in the show you can see the lighter which refers to Sam from Uncharted 4, as well as the slot machine with the Mortal Kombat 2 fighting game. Troy also recalled the open window, which refers to the splash screen from the original The Last of Us.
Baker was also very pleased with the showrunners’ decision to use actors from the game in the series. He especially praised the work of actress Merle Dandridge, who talentedly embodied Marlene in both the 2013 game and the HBO show.
Season 1 finale The Last of Us released March 12th. It is known that the executive producer of the show Craig Mazin is already writing a sequel script.
