Actor Troy Baker played Joel in the games of the cycle The Last of Us, and in the serial adaptation, he had a small role. The artist shared his opinion about the show. He’s thrilled that HBO is bringing even more people into the touching story of Joel and Ellie.

Baker noted that the third episode came out extremely dramatic. He also praised the Easter eggs for famous video games. Troy also recalled the open window, which refers to the splash screen from the original The Last of Us.
Baker was also very pleased with the showrunners’ decision to use actors from the game in the series. He especially praised the work of actress Merle Dandridge, who talentedly embodied Marlene in both the 2013 game and the HBO show.
