On March 17, a tragedy occurred on the territory of the former Velikoluksky Locomotive Car Repair Plant, or VLVRZ, on Malysheva Street.

A 29-year-old man, according to preliminary data, was on the territory of the enterprise illegally and collected metal. He died at the scene when a concrete slab fell on top of him. As a result, the heavy structure actually cut off the man’s legs.

At about three o’clock in the afternoon, a message about the death of a man born in 1994 was received by law enforcement agencies.

It is known that at present, specialists are engaged in the demolition of factory buildings and the removal of rubble. How the deceased ended up at this place has not yet been established. Initially, it was reported that the victim worked at the enterprise, but this information was not confirmed.
