An earthquake of magnitude 6.7 was recorded on Saturday in Ecuador. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The epicenter of the disaster was located 17 km southwest of the city of Naranhal, where 32 thousand people live. The source lay at a depth of 85 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage. There was no tsunami threat.
Earlier, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported a magnitude of 6.9.
