An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was recorded on Saturday in Afghanistan. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to him, the epicenter was located 99 km east of the city of Kunduz with a population of more than 161 thousand people. The source lay at a depth of 156 km.
There were no reports of casualties.
