The Federal Security Service (FSB) on Monday, March 6, announced the prevention of the assassination of the head of the board of directors of Tsargrad, Konstantin Malofeev. The attempt was prepared by the Ukrainian special services.
The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation prevented an attempt on the life of a public figure, the chairman of the board of directors of the Tsargrad group of companies, Konstantin Malofeev, organized by the Ukrainian special services, –
noted in the Center for Public Relations (TsOS) of the FSB.
It is specified that the organizer of the assassination attempt was a citizen of the Russian Federation Denis Kapustin, born in 1984, living on the territory of Ukraine and acting under the control of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
A video has appeared on the Web of how an unknown person places explosives under Malofeev’s car.
The FSB added that the attempt on Malofeev was planned to be carried out according to a scheme similar to the murder of journalist Daria Dugina.
Tsargrad Media journalist Daria Dugina died on the evening of August 20.
She was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser to Moscow from the village of Zakharovo in the Moscow Region from the Tradition Literary and Music Festival. At about 21:35, near the village of Bolshie Vyazemy, the car exploded at full speed, pulled over and caught fire. The journalist died at the scene of the assassination attempt.
Two days later, the FSB announced that the crime had been solved. It turned out that the perpetrator of the murder was a citizen of Ukraine Natalia Vovk, the crime was prepared and committed by the Ukrainian special services.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding her the Order of Courage. The award was presented to the father of the deceased.
