Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday, June 16. This was announced on May 24 by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
Putin will attend in person, a Kremlin spokesman said. “A speech is being prepared <...> Yes, a discussion is being prepared at the plenary panel,” Peskov told reporters (quote from TASS).
In April became knownthat Brazilian President Lulu da Silva was invited to SPIEF.
The largest economic forum in Russia will take place in 2023 June 14-17. President Vladimir Putin will address the plenary session. One of the key topics of SPIEF will be the labor market.
