Two little girls disappeared in the Kemerovo region the night before. Today, May 19, volunteers, police, rescuers and employees of the UK are looking for them. This was reported by the press service of the local Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A report about the missing children was received by the duty unit this afternoon. Two-year-old Alena and four-year-old Irina left the playground in the village of Leninsky at about six o’clock the day before, after which no one saw them. Where the sisters went is unknown.
“Currently, large-scale search activities have been launched by police officers on the spot. They are attended by police officers, employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass, specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, representatives of the administration, volunteers of the search squad, volunteers from among local residents. Participants inspect houses and abandoned buildings in the village, examine the forest, ”said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The head of the headquarters, Major General of Police Gennady Kornienko, sent another 40 employees to the place, thus, the total number of the group was about 200 people.
