Explosives specialists worked for almost a day in the Gatchina region, where, after a night flash, they found a fallen power line pole. Three more unexploded ones were removed from it and the neighboring one.
During the inspection of the fallen support, according to preliminary information, they found a device with an electronic timer and a detonator and an explosive weighing about 300 grams, the Agency for Journalistic Investigations (AZhUR) news agency learned on May 2. Two more similar ones were removed from the neighboring one – one for 300 grams of explosive, the second for 600 grams.
Fontanka wrote that the regional Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the articles “sabotage” and “illicit trafficking in explosives.”
