San Juan dedicates its fallas festivities to Jesús Quintero, its most illustrious neighbor

The weekend looks exciting in San Juan del Puerto. After the years of pandemic, finally, San Juan residents and visitors will be able to enjoy their unique Fallas festivals in honor of San José.
The urban center of the municipality has a street dedicated to the Holy Patriarch where every year, around March 19, the accent is placed on some festivals with more than half a century of history and that they are so well received by part of the population and by many people. The center of the festivities, the popular fallas unique in the province, created some time ago by Juan Martín Pérez “Zapatito”. This is how each person who is part of the Celebrations Commission of our fallas festivals is. Everything is ready for this weekend of pride for San Juan, a town that this year offers some fallas in honor of our favorite son on his own street. The City Council has collaborated as it has been doing every year with the Commission, carrying out a schedule of events that started yesterday with a mascletá in c/ Los Chirris and Children’s Day in the attractions, it will be from today when the festivities reach their peak. Tonight at 8:30 p.m. when it is crowned Carmen Domínguez Aquino as fallera mayor and Miguel Pérez announces the festivities.
