The St. Petersburg Help Foundation, which provides support to adults and children with various diseases, as well as those who find themselves in a difficult life situation, is holding a charity run. Not only residents of the Northern capital can take part in it – the online format allows everyone to join the race, regardless of location.
Participants are invited to run from 400 meters to 42 kilometers depending on age and physical fitness. Thanks to the online format, you can choose a convenient route, pace and time yourself. For example, a children’s slot (400 meters) is provided specifically for young athletes, as well as their parents. Children from 5 years old can run the distance accompanied by adults at their own pace and on their favorite playground.
The sports marathon started on April 1st. Residents of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sevastopol, the Yaroslavl and Orenburg regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug have already taken part in it, the fund told Fontanka.
The race will run through May 31st. In order to take part in it, you need to register on the platform russiarunningand also join telegram chatwhere all the results will be recorded.
Funds raised during the marathon will be used to help the wards Charitable Foundation “Help”and participants will receive commemorative medals.
