As noted, the average increase in pension payments to Chernobyl victims is UAH 998.54. In total, pensions were indexed by 100,000 such persons.
The average increase for the remaining 9 million pensioners, whose payments were indexed, is UAH 587.41.
Another 900,000 pensioners were not indexed.
We are talking about persons who have been assigned a pension in accordance with the Law “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” over the past two years (from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022). They just set a monthly surcharge of 100 UAH.

- Since March 1, 2023, pensions have been indexed in Ukraine for almost all categories of its recipients. Recalculation terms vary. depending on the type and date of the pension assigned to persons. For half a million recipients of pensions to whom they were assigned in 2020-2022, payments were not indexed.
