An old-age pension can be assigned automatically if the register of insured persons contains information about the length of service acquired before 2004 (the employer or the insured person submitted a work book for translation into electronic form).
If a person does not have enough experience in the register, then a pension will be assigned upon an application that can be submitted through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine: https://portal.pfu.gov.ua/.
If an application for the appointment of an old-age pension is submitted no later than three months from the date of reaching the retirement age, the pension will be granted from the day following the day of reaching the retirement age (if you turned 60, for example, on March 1, then a three-month period until June 1, 2023 ).
If the application for a pension is later, the pension will be assigned from the date of application for it.
The pensioner must submit the following documents to the service center to assign a pension:
- application in the prescribed form;
- passport (original and copy);
- documents on the place of residence (registration);
- birth certificate of children (if necessary);
- marriage certificate (if necessary, original + copy);
- application and current account number in an authorized institution of the bank;
- work book (original and photocopy) and other documents on work experience;
- TIN or certificate of compulsory state social insurance;
- a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office on military service, a military ID (if necessary);
- diploma and other documents confirming the periods of study at the full-time department before January 1, 2004 (original and photocopy);
- at the request of the pensioner and upon confirmation by primary documents, a salary certificate for any 60 consecutive months until June 30, 2000.
