
North Korea on the morning of Sunday, March 19, launched a short-range ballistic missile from an area in the north of Pyongyang province towards the Sea of Japan, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing the South Korean army. The Reuters agency transmits data from the Ministry of Defense of Japan: a North Korean missile rose to a height of 50 km and covered a distance of 800 kilometers. The Japanese Coast Guard added that the object fell into the sea.
It’s already Third North Korean missile test since March 12, when the largest joint military exercises in the last five years started South Korea and the United States under the code name Warrior Shield. North Korea has said it sees the exercise as an “invasion drill,” although Seoul and Washington have stressed that it’s only defense training.

Seoul threatens to suspend inter-Korean agreement
