Petersburg introduces a temporary ban on the movement of jet skis on several water objects in the city. This was reported on May 6 in the press service of Smolny.

From May 7 to May 10, it will be impossible to use jet skis on the Neva – from the Blagoveshchensky Bridge to the Bolshoi Obukhovsky Bridge, along two sections of the Malaya Nevka – from the Betancourt Bridge to the Neva and from the Bolshoi Petrovsky Bridge to the Bolshaya Nevka. The restrictions apply, among other things, to the Bolshaya Nevka, from the Ushakovsky Bridge to the Neva, as well as to the entire Kronverk Strait.

“These measures are being taken in order to strengthen law and order and ensure security during city events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War,” the entry says.

For the same period, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of St. Petersburg was banned. Exceptions are UAVs of state authorities and local governments, as well as organizations that fulfill a state order or act in the interests of the media and the film industry if they have special documents.

Recall that on May 3, Fontanka reported that in St. Petersburg there was a ban on all commercial and private launches of drones and copters. It applies to flights within a radius of 150 km around the city and will last until May 15.
