According to the Russian Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Miranda Media LLC was established in Simferopol back in 2004. Since 2015, it has been registered under Russian law.

The founders of the company are Rostelecom PJSC and Luxtrans Shipping Company LLC, the main activity of which, despite the name, is the provision of Internet access services.

In May 2022, Ivan Ivanovich Zima became the head of Miranda-media, who previously, according to According to Kommersantwas vice president for digital regions of Rostelecom, and is also the general director of Krymtelecom, created on the basis of “nationalized” that is, the Crimean branch of Ukrtelecom captured by the invaders.

Miranda Media announced vacancies in Donetsk and Mariupol. According to Kommersant, the company will operate on the networks of telecom operators Phoenix and Lugakom from the so-called DNR and LNR.

In the Zaporozhye region, there is no publicly available information about technical work or the search for specialists for Miranda-media.

How informed CJR, the occupiers are monopolizing the account for the provision of cable Internet in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region. All users of Melitopol and the Melitopol region have already been forced to sign agreements with the MirTelecom provider, which receives Internet through Miranda Media.

Also in the region are mobile operators MirTelecom and +7 Telecom, created specifically for work in the Zaporozhye region, as well as Phoenix from the occupied Donetsk.
