According to them, the car of the collaborator was blown up on the evening of March 17 after he left the building of the Jubilee Village Council of the Kherson region. As a result of the explosion, the body of Sergei Moskalenko was torn in half, and the invaders stepped up police measures.
So far, there are two versions of this liquidation: Moskalenko could have died thanks to the partisans, or due to internal clashes between the occupiers and local collaborators. The occupiers themselves have not yet reported the death of the “head of the temporary detention center” of Novaya Kakhovka. It has not yet been possible to verify this information from other sources.
Moskalenko Sergey Viktorovich, born on October 23, 1978, before the full-scale war had a private security firm “Jaguar”. In March 2022, he began to voluntarily cooperate with the Russian occupiers and headed the detention center in the building of the Kakhovka district police department in Nova Kakhovka, occupied by the invaders. In this position, he helped the invaders kidnap local residents and torture them.
“Since March 2022, the police building has turned into a dungeon. The detainees were beaten and tortured with electric shocks. And every night, Russian military and local collaborators took the prisoners to the basement, stood them facing the wall and shot at them with a pistol. They tried to shoot overhead or near the ears. That’s what they did with me. After these shots, I had a lot of noise in my ears, I could hardly hear anything. Some prisoners they shot for real. Sergey Moskalenko was “responsible” for these tortures,” a resident of Nova Kakhovka, who was in a dungeon in the police building in the spring of 2022, told the CJR.
