“Compulsory passportization of the population of the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region continues. In particular, in the city of Melitopol, the Russian occupying so-called authorities, together with representatives of the Russian federal tax service, prohibited any payments and settlements to citizens who do not have a registration number of a Russian taxpayer account card. It, in turn, can be obtained only if you have a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, ”the message says.

As reported, in the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy confiscates passports from Ukrainians under various pretexts. The passport of a citizen of Ukraine is also required to be handed over in case of applying for Russian citizenship, although the Russian Federation is not prohibited from having dual citizenship.
