On May 5, a court in Moscow sent two young people and their underage friend to a pre-trial detention center in the case of hooliganism with violence against CSKA basketball player Alexei Shved.
All three, according to the metropolitan prosecutor’s office, were arrested for two months, until July 2. None of them pleads guilty and asked the court for a non-custodial measure.
The defendants are charged with hooliganism by a group of persons with the use of violence. MSK1 writes that there is a fourth defendant in the case, his identity has been established, but so far the young man has not been found. According to preliminary data, it was he who hit the basketball player on the head, so his actions can be qualified under the article on intentional infliction of grievous harm.
