As journalists write on May 18, 1,109 Russian citizens applied for asylum. But we have not yet received an answer, as the Nordic countries of Europe are waiting for the development of the EU line on this issue.
“No decisions have yet been made on asylum applications,” Sanna Sutter, director of the immigration department at the Interior Ministry, told Finnish journalists.
