The police detained a man who went down the path in the Moscow metro to smoke a cigarette. This is reported on May 2 by MVD-Media.
The incident occurred at the VDNH metro station of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line at night. The press release says that this was “in the absence of an electric train”, but the camera footage shows the train leaving the station. The camera recorded how the passenger makes his way into the service area and descends from the platform onto the rails. He did not take into account the work of automation.
“After the signaling device that controlled the entry of a person into the tunnel was triggered, the violator was immediately detained by the officers of the patrol service of the Internal Affairs Directorate on the Moscow Metro who came to the rescue and taken to the police department for investigation,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes.
The violator turned out to be a 31-year-old native of the Perm region, he explained that he really wanted to smoke. A protocol was drawn up against him under article 11.15, part 3, of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of requirements in the field of transport security). The court appointed him an administrative arrest for seven days.
