From Tuesday, March 21, warm but cloudy weather awaits Moscow residents. According to Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, temperatures of up to +12°C are predicted in the capital in the second half of the week.

“Monday will be a transitional day, because the anticyclone is shifting. The sun will still peep through, the temperature is about plus 5-8 degrees. From Tuesday, a low pressure trough will approach, fairly uniform weather begins, which can be associated with spring, if not for snow. will warm up to plus 7-9 degrees, and from Wednesday the indicators will already reach double-digit values,” Roman Vilfand explained. Forecast of the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation leads TASS on Monday, March 20.

On Wednesday, March 22, the temperature will reach +10°C. On March 23, about 11°C is predicted, on March 24 and 25, +12°C is expected in the capital. At the same time, the meteorologist expects cloudiness and light rain.

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia warned that warming does not mean that there will be no more frosts and cold snaps in Moscow. However, he indicated that from March 22, a steady transition of the average daily temperature through 0 ° C will begin, which is considered one of the main signs of spring.

Earlier it was also reported that from mid-March throughout Russia warming is predicted. The area of ​​the country will be colored in red and deep red on synoptic maps, because the temperature is expected to be well above the climatic norm.
