An unidentified drone crashed far from residential buildings in the Tula region. There is no threat to the population and infrastructure.

About the incident informed committee of the Tula region on regional security on Sunday, March 19. The object was found in the Odoevsky district between the settlements of Petrovskoye and Malovel in the field. The unmanned aerial vehicle was without identification marks and departmental affiliation, the report says. All emergency services are currently at the scene.

On March 2, in the Tula region, at a distance of 600 meters from the village of Berezovsky, Kireevsky district, an explosion crater was also discovered. The fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle is considered as one of the possible reasons.

Then the safety of local residents was not threatened. However, given the situation in the regions bordering Ukraine, the governor of the region instructed to strengthen security measures. In addition, if necessary, it was recommended that additional forces and means be deployed as soon as possible to protect vital facilities and law and order. The governor also instructed to expand support measures for members of voluntary people’s squads.
