In the winter season, Sri Lanka was among the top three most popular holiday destinations among Russians. In the spring, positive dynamics persist.

Russian tourists will also be able to relax in Sri Lanka in the summer – tour operators have decided to extend part of the winter flight programs to the island. This is good news – the price of vouchers will remain at a relatively acceptable level. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) told how much will a holiday in Sri Lanka cost in may, june and july.

For the summer season, one of the tour operators announced the launch of charter flights to the island. It is planned that the planes will fly from Moscow to Hambantota twice a week from April 30. The Russians will be able to spend 11 or 12 nights in the resorts of Trincomalee and Pasikuda.

The minimum budget for a holiday in Sri Lanka is 187.4 thousand rubles for two. The tour price includes 11 nights in one of the four-star hotels on the island (passikuda resort, departure – May 11). 12 nights in a three-star hotel in the resort of Trincomalee will cost 208.3 thousand rubles for two (departure – June 11). A ticket with a departure on July 6 will also cost 208.3 thousand rubles The tour includes 11 nights in a 4* hotel.

To enter Sri Lanka, Russian tourists need to obtain an entry permit – ETA. You can do this in two ways – upon arrival or in Russia (in rubles when booking a tour). The cost is $70, children under 12 are free.

Earlier, the Russians were listed the most profitable countries for holidays this year. For example, in summer you can go not only to Sri Lanka, but also to Montenegro or Georgia.
