Several border settlements of the Kursk region on Sunday, March 19, came under fire from Ukraine. This was announced by the governor of the region Roman Starovoit.

According to him, the village of Troitskoye in the Korenevsky district, the village of Elizavetovka and the village of Krasnooktyabrsky in the Glushkovsky district came under fire. “Fortunately no one was hurt” wrote Starovoit in his Telegram channel.

10 arrivals were recorded in Krasnooktyabrsky. The building of the medical center and four private households were slightly damaged, the governor of the Kursk region noted. According to him, facades, windows, roofs and fences were cut by fragments. Also in the village there are breaks in power lines. Crews have already begun repairing the damage.

Since the beginning of the Russian special operation, the Kursk region has been regularly shelled by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat has been introduced in the region. Another shelling of a border village in the Kursk region was reported on March 2. As Starovoit noted, in the area of ​​​​the village of Troitskoye, Korenevsky district was recorded nine flights. Another 11 fell on the outskirts of the village of Begoshcha, Rylsky district.
