The action of the “grain deal” has been extended, they said on Saturday, March 18, at the UN. The organization called on the parties to redouble their efforts to implement both parts of the agreement, UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarric’s spokesman said in a comment.

“The initiative allows for safe navigation for the export of grain, related food and fertilizers, including ammonia, from certain Ukrainian ports,” the text says.

It is noted that in the process of implementing the agreement, 25 million tons of grain and food have already been transported to 45 countries, writes TASS. In addition, the deal allowed to reduce world food prices, as well as to stabilize the markets.
