
Russia has decided to add 23 more British citizens to the stop list, including representatives of the armed forces and propaganda structures. This was announced on Friday, March 17th.
According to published On the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry information, the sanctions were introduced “in connection with the active use by the British government of the mechanism of unilateral sanctions restrictions against domestic individuals and organizations, as well as the comprehensive efforts of the British to provide military-technical support to Ukraine.”
It is noted that the Russian stop list also includes representatives of the judiciary and the penitentiary system of Great Britain, officers of the United Kingdom who are involved in the training of the Ukrainian military.
Early January 2023 included in the Russian stop list British Foreign Secretary and Chief of Staff. The Minister for Social and Economic Development of the Regions, the Minister without Portfolio, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and several representatives of the leadership of the Strategic Command of the Armed Forces and the UK National Cyber Security Center were also added there.
