Russian President Vladimir Putin will give instructions to solve the problems that the residents of Mariupol told him about. This was announced on March 19 by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

According to Peskov, some Mariupol residents spoke about the delay in wages, others asked questions about obtaining Russian citizenship, writes RIA News.

“The president will give instructions to deal with the situation,” the spokesman said.

The Russian leader flew to Mariupol by helicopter and then got behind the wheel of a car. Together with Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, he toured the city. In the Nevsky microdistrict, the President met with the townspeople, later he visited a residential microdistrict under construction.

Khusnullin told Putin that in 2023 it is planned to repair 54 km of roads and five bridges in Mariupol. In addition, by 2024 the building of the Drama Theater will be restored. And being here Philharmonic have already been sorted out. The cultural institution will be headed by an employee from the Stavropol Territory.
