Vladimir Putin was informed about the progress of the special military operation during a meeting at the command post in Rostov-on-Don. This was announced on Sunday, March 19 by the Kremlin press service. RIA News.
It is noted that the President of the Russian Federation heard reports from the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and a number of military leaders.
Prior to this, the head of state visited Mariupol. According to the Kremlin, Putin flew there by helicopter, after which he inspected several objects in the city, including the coastline, the yacht club area, and also talked with local residents.
On the trip, the president was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. He told Putin about the progress of restoration work in the city.
