In the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, border guards, together with colleagues from the police, revealed facts of fictitious migration registration of citizens from the countries of Central Asia. Violators-foreigners can become defendants in a criminal case. This was reported today by the press service of the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the KChR.
Border guards, in particular, found that in February, two residents of a. Kamennomost of the Karachaevsky district was fictitiously registered in their household without providing housing for five citizens of the near abroad who came to Russia to work.
The issue of initiating a criminal case under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of stay in the Russian Federation).
The Border Department reminds: the sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles, or forced labor or imprisonment for up to three years.
