Former US President Donald Trump said that he could be detained as early as Tuesday, March 21. In this regard, he called on his supporters to come out to protest. Relevant message appeared Saturday, March 18, on Trump’s Truth Social.
“The leading Republican candidate and former President of the United States of America will be detained on Tuesday next week. Come out to protest, take back our country!” – wrote the former head of the White House.
According to him, he was informed about the impending detention by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which Trump called “corrupt and highly politicized.”
NBC previously revealed that Trump could face charges next week over an alleged payment of money to pornographic actress Stormy Daniels, who had to keep quiet about their alleged affair in the past.
