The Armed Forces (AF) of Russia inflicted a defeat on the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian troops in the Krasnolimansky direction. Over the past day, the enemy lost over 90 people. Several units of equipment of the Ukrainian troops were put out of action, including the Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers. About it reported Sunday, March 19, in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
More than 80 people of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost in the Donetsk direction. In particular, three combat vehicles of the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) and the Msta-B howitzer were put out of action. In the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Armed Forces defeated enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Vugledar, Prechistovka, Privolnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Orekhov, Zaporozhye region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 50 soldiers, three pickup trucks and a D-30 howitzer.
In the Kupyansk direction, enemy units were hit in the areas of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Timkovka, Olshana in the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoye in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). Ukrainian troops lost up to 50 people, two combat armored vehicles and two cars per day. In the Kherson direction, enemy losses amounted to 20 people, three vehicles and two Gvozdika howitzers.
In addition, the military of the Russian Federation in the Kherson region attacked two hangars with weapons and military equipment of the 122nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of territorial defense. Russian fighter jets also shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 military helicopter.
The day before, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that in the Krasnolimansky direction of the Russian Armed Forces units hit Ukrainian troops in several settlements in the LPR, as well as in the DPR. APU lost over 100 people.
