The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has created a new mechanism to support utility infrastructure. It is expected that the new measure will help reduce the cost of housing construction and affect the price per square meter.
According to the project, the resource supply company can build engineering networks for new homes at the expense of the National Wealth Fund (NWF), write “News”. The FAS believes that this will enable organizations to lay networks of a larger diameter, taking into account the connection to heat, water supply, and sanitation of all potential facilities.
At the same time, companies that plan construction will be able to reduce connection fees. Also, in this case, the connection time will be significantly reduced. Now they range from 18 months to three years.
The FAS hopes that the adoption of the draft document will help increase the annual volume of housing commissioning.
In January, Vladimir Putin said that the Russian government prepared a program for the modernization of housing and communal serviceswhich is funded. The President stressed that “these are not just some good wishes” – 440 billion rubles were allocated for the program. Last year, 170 billion rubles were provided for these purposes.
