French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna spoke about the assistance that Paris provides to Ukraine. According to her, France is not limited by any taboo in helping Kyiv.
The head of the French Foreign Ministry also commented on the decision of Poland and Slovakia to provide the Ukrainian side with MiG-29 aircraft. The column believes that “everything that helps Ukraine is useful, since it is in a situation of legitimate defense.” About it writes Journal du dimanche.
The Minister noted that these two countries did what they considered useful. They proceeded from the fact that they have such fighters that the Ukrainian military knows how to handle.
The column did not rule out that other states would follow this example in the future. At the same time, she did not specify whether Paris could provide fighter jets to Kyiv.
Earlier, a spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry said that the country “opened the way” for the supply of tanks to Ukraine. In addition, since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation, Paris has supported Ukraine in financial, economic and humanitarian terms, she added.
