Russian Daniil Medvedev defeated American Francis Tiafoe in the semifinal match of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament. The match took place in American Indian Wells on the night of Sunday, March 19.
The meeting ended with a score of 7:5, 7:6 (7:4) in favor of Medvedev. The Russian was seeded at the tournament under the fifth number, the American played under the 14th number. In the final, Medvedev will meet the winner of the match between Italian Yannick Sinner (No. 11) and Spaniard Carlos Alcaras (No. 1), transmits TASS.
