China will continue to build strategic cooperation with Russia “back to back”, promoting together with it the principles of a multipolar world. This was stated on Friday, March 17, by Chinese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui in an interview. RIA News.
According to the diplomat, Beijing and Moscow will continue to provide reliable guarantees for global stability and strategic balance.
“Today the world is restless. However, the more instability there is in the world, the more confidently Chinese-Russian relations go forward,” he said.
Zhang Hanhui also stressed that the Russian Federation and China have embarked on the path of friendly coexistence of major powers and created an example of a new type of international relations. The ambassador added that the interaction between Beijing and Moscow is based on the principles of non-alignment with blocs and is not directed against third parties, therefore it does not allow interference and provocations from other states.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russian-Chinese relations are are above the military alliance, they have no restrictions and limits. According to the head of the ministry, Russia’s rapprochement with Eastern countries is inevitable.
